is a liquid corrosion inhibitor and cleaner for plastification processes of plastic processing machines. INTERKOR VP 1026 cleans and prevents rust due to the additives it contains. These additives initiate an extreme expansion in volume. All spaces in the plastification unit are affected and the result is corrosion protection for all surfaces.

INTERKOR VP 1026
produces a significant amount of foam and therefore to an increase in pressure resulting from the expansion of the volume in the limited space of the worm cylinder (filled with plastic granulate). INTERKOR VP 1026 causes the material to escape quickly from the nozzle or open hot channel tool due to these parameters and removes all scraps left over from the last injection of material.

Application: Sufficient inhibition and cleaning requires a granulate volume between 1 and 10 times the volume of the cylinder depending on the tool. The granulate is to be mixed with about 1% INTERKOR VP 1026. Degassing nozzles must be connected to the machine and the automatic feed system must be off.

The prepared granulate quantity is then introduced into the worm cylinder via the clean funnel, plastified and sprayed out just like for a normal injection process.

The rest of the foamed INTERKOR-granulate mixture is driven out by a small amount of granulate until only clean particles are sprayed out when the machine is restarted.
